Fear. The one thing that, if not controlled, can over take one's soul very quickly. Though fear can easily be soothed, can it be taken away? Can one release fear into the wind? Never to be felt again? We may not be able to erase them but, we are able to confront and let them go. A Nation who has felt fear before, chose to let his own fears go into the wind. In the form of a tiny paper airplane. On a sunny, breezy día at the shore, Feliciano chose that día to release his fears. It was mid día and the sun was shining bright. The breeze light. The weather warm. The waves crashing elegantly on the shore, leaving behind a mix of watery foam in their wake. The clouds above acted as his audience. His witnesses to the fear he was about to set free into the wind. After much toil with flimsy paper and stinging paper cuts, Feliciano held up his papery creation with a proud smile and a bandaid riddled hand. His diligence was about to pay off. An excited smile graced his features and he turned to the shoreline. The time had finally come. The time to let it all go. With a willing raise of his arm and heart, he threw his papery creation into the wind. The tiny paper airplane clumsily tumbled and dipped as it flew ovr the waves and into the sea Feliciano felt a strong sense of freedom and release settle upon him as he watched his creation fly off into the wind. A weight lifting from his shoulders. As these feelings reached their peak, a powerful gust of wind blew passed Feliciano, giving him goosebumps and sending his paper airplane further out to sea. Tumbling off to an unknown destination. Finally. Finally his fears were gone. Into the wind and sea. Never to be felt again. As happiness began to fill his veins and body likea rushing river, Feliciano raised his arm once again , waving good-bye to his paper airplane, shouting the words, "HAVE A GOOD TRIP!!!!"
