JK Rowling didn't kill Sirius. Bellatrix Lestrange did. And Dumbledore and Harry also carry some of the blame.
It's easier that way! 'Cause, I dislike it when people ask questions like this.
It's not like JK Rowling pointed her wand at Sirius and shouted 'Avada Kedavra!'
It also gives me more the reason to HATE Bellatrix.

You can't be mad at HER, Bellatrix is the one who did it :D In any case, it was necessary in the long run, Harry couldn't have all of these crutches around him anymore.

once agan JK ROWLING,is the WRITERshe has THE REAL POWER,and she's the one who bellatrix kill Sirius,there for yes i can be MAD at REAL LIFE PERSON THAN A FICATINOL CHARACTER OK,and i don't think it was NECESSARY because harry had alardy saferid enogh,and don't tell that littel jenny would make up for it because she can't,not really,no matter how harry is happy in the end with his family and all there will be always incomplet part of him,and yes his family is everything and all but still there will be that small place in him,the littel boy who is lost with no family
