Why do tu like harry potter?

Lots of reasons - I can't even tell tu how many times o reasons I've dado in the nine months I've been here. I've even written two artículos as to why I like HP. As I'm way to lazy to yet again say why, I'll just give tu the enlaces to the artículos (link and link)

1.Hogwarts-A long trip away from my town-pretty much the East Coast Forks(Without all of that rain). It's so different from what I already know.
2.Friends-As GD said, I've made so many friends through the Harry Potter franchise(books, movies).
3.Characters-I've been able to relate to over half of the characters, major and minor. Especially Neville, Ron, and Hermione. And when I'm older, I might even relate to Snape, for goodness' sake!
4-The Legacy-It's touched my life completely. Here's what I mean. In school today, I visited the library. I picked up their copy of DH, my favorito! fiction book EVER, and this is what happened. I read A Flaw In The Plan, my favorito! chapter, and even narrowed it down to my favorito! page of any book ever, when Hagrid carries Harry out of the Forbidden Forest, and everybody sees him. Their screams terrified me, and still do, cherishing lectura that for the first time years ago. I shed a little tear in the library, and I don't care if anyone saw it, like Luna's carefree attitude. I'm blessed to have a book that explains so much.

I like it because it inspired me to write. It helped me make friends. It indirectly linked me to things I like más than HP (Buffy and PJO). Plus, the pickup lines are pretty hilarious. "I wanna put my basilisk in your Chamber of Secrets." LOL

Because Harry Potter taught me to always be loyal to my friends, taught me if tu want to try tu can do it, tu don't need to be a adult to be able to save the world. mostrar me about girl's power. Taught me what true amor is, friendship, etc..

I amor Harry Potter because:
tu get so attached to the characters. It's like, tu really want to go and help them in bad situations, but tu know tu can't, for obvious reasons. tu really feel for them. Thats how tu know an autor has done their job.

It brings tu to a far away place that tu could never escape to anywhere else BUT the Harry Potter books.

It makes tu think what tu would do for the people tu love, what tu would do in dangerous situations, what your best qualities are (for which Hogwarts house tu would be in).

Whenever something bad o sad happens in my life, and I really want to forget, the only way I can escape is lectura my Harry Potter books. They make me feel better.

When tu re-read the books, tu don't find something más in the books, tu find something más in yourself.

Why wouldn't I like it? I don't have to explain myself to a Twilight fan. It should be the other way around because if tu like Twilight, that doesn't make any sense. Liking Harry Potter makes sense

I amor it because this book showed me what is really important in life, how powerful is amor and friendship, there are written many wise things, every time while lectura I always discover the new things. also, its written with unique style, everything is very real, and well-thought, it seems that the autor act responsibly por the case, everything is predetermined. It makes me feel real feelings when I'm reading

I don't just like it, it's a amor and a loyalty that is rivaled por very few things in my life. I wouldn't say that it's because of any profound realization it helped me come to o that it helped me through rough times. I amor it because it is another example of the importance of connecting to the rest of the world. I remember when the libros were still coming out how Harry Potter seemed to bring people all around the world together and that's a pretty powerful thing. Knowledge is power, but shared knowledge is something all the más so. Harry Potter gave us a fairy tale version of Nazi Germany that I think is portrayed in a way that won't scare o bore children but instead engage them. We learn many of life's most important lessons, albeit unknowingly, at a young age through the fairy tales and stories we're told. This is why I think Harry Potter is so important, that if this can become a lesson that is instilled in us growing up, we can carry it with us for the rest of our lives and don't discriminate becomes as simple as don't steal.

1. I amor the way it is written, Jo has has amazing talent.

2. The plot

3. The characters are deep and complex. (Unlike some other books...*cough*)They all have flaws. tu can really get into them, relate to them, even though they live in a magic fantasía world. The real theme of Hp isn't actually magic.

4. All the tiny tiny things she put there that tu can only get if tu analyse it deeply. I get something new every time I read it.

5. The name meanings. That was epic and so so genius. Also how she based many of her Magical Creatures off real mythology.

6. It made me interested in writing.

7. Most of all, the things I got out of it.

It made me interested in philosophy. I along with my team are going to National Finals To represent my state in the Australia-wide Philosophy Competition. I knew I would never have done this if I hadn't read HP. And this isn't all about prizes and glory, but it's immensely self-fulfilling to think about the deeper side of life. The morals she put in it were so inspiring. HP made me a much better person. I won't lista all these morals because it would take a long time, but namely amor is the most powerful force in the universe an how it is the real Magic, not wand-swishing, which is what Jo actually wants to tell us in her books. (And I don't mean just romantic love)



And many más reasons that I won't list.

Why do I *like* HP? Let me count the ways.

1. It introduced me to my bored buddy, bestest friend, weirdy weird sis, twinny, boozer buddy, música buddy, and techno twinny.
2. It got me into lectura again.
3. It takes me to a new universe of not only new characters but new worlds and words and sports.
4. I enjoy escritura más because of HP.
5. The characters are complex and tu get attached to them and feel for their pain and happiness.
6. It made me work on my debating skills and I use facts to back up reasons on dicho debates.
7. It introduced me to my nerdo Dan <3

because harry potter is awesome and stands on its own and everybody is intitled to an opinion so people may ridicule and slander but i will stand por harry potter until i die

its all the magic. tu can kill someone with a few words. what do tu think of that? i'm a twilight fan but i like harry potter better.

For many reasons

It inspired me to read and write more
It was a part of my childhood
It has a unique plot
I amor the characters
It brings back memories
And much much more

It made me feel better about myself, it inspired my imaginiation, I can escape into a whole new world and it just makes me feel better. :)

It means a lot to me and millions of other people around the world. Everyone can find pieces of themselves in at least one character and that is what makes it special. Many other libros don't have that so there is always a muro between the reader and the story but with HP, there's not a wall. The reader is IN the story, from the first book tu develop a relationship with Harry, Ron & Hermione and when something affects them, it affects you. That's what makes a good book, relationships. And I don't mean superficial relationships that are nothing below the surface (i.e Twilight relationships). There are many dimensions to the relationships in HP, and they all start with friendship. They don't jump straight to "I amor you, have sex with me." There is nothing like that in HP. HP has taught me many life lessons and it has made me a better person all round.
For the past 10 years, Harry Potter has been my friend, someone I can turn to when I'm sad o angry and I'm sure I will be doing the same when I'm in my 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s... until the día I die.
For us, we are the Harry Potter generation but for generations to come, Harry Potter will live on. He will defeat Voldemort over and over and over again, he will create friendships over again, he will become friends with millions of más people for decades.
Harry Potter will live on in the libros and films but most of all, in the hearts of children, teenagers and the young-at-hearts, forever.

Reasons why I like Harry Potter :-

- It's got something called a 'Plot'...and a well-thought out and intricate one at that.

- The series uplifts values like friendship, bravery, will-power and most important...'Love'...not lusty love, but amor of all different kinds; amor between friends, maternal/paternal love, tu get the picture right?

-The characters in the stories are realistic. They have flaws, they have their talents, they have their quirks...all-in-all tu can actually relate to them. I've grown up with Harry Potter and I've seemed to have formed some sort of bond with the characters which no other book can duplicate.

- JK Rowling creates a whole new Universe. It's diverse and richly-detailed. There are very little plot-holes and nothing contradicts itself. Rowling creates a set rules and she sticks with them. This is why everything is so believeable. Honestly, when I was 11, I was actually waiting for my Hogwarts Letter to arrive.

- The castillo of Hogwarts! Need I say more? A story on that castillo alone would be enough to satisfy my bookish desires.

- One word : Quidditch!

- JK Rowling creates four houses for Hogwarts. Namely Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw. Just because Harry's in Gryffindor, tu won't see evryone wanting to be in Gryffindor. They're are just as many fans who'd amor to be in Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. That's what JK Rowling did. She just didn't write a story with the colours of white and black...there are shades of grey too. This just shows the depth of the whole story.

- I amor the whole concept of 'the wand chooses the wizard'...and I'd amor to know más about wandlore.

- It inspired to me start escritura and lectura más books. It taught me so many things. Harry Potter is an inporatant part of my life. These are just a few of the reasons why I'm so hopelessly in-love with the Harry Potter series. Jk Rowling is my idol!
