I'm really dying to see an older Doctor... I know Robert is busy now with OUAT, but he'd do such an incredible job as the Doctor for sure!

I think Richard Hammond may be palpable, as he is quite similar to David Tennant is some respects. :)

^ive always thought that! I can see Benedict being The Doctor, but maybe thats because i can see similar aspects in Sherlock and The Doctor which i admire. Whatever, he would be very good indeed :)

Didn't he turn down the role, I'm pretty sure mofFAT originally wanted him to be the eleventh but Cumberbatch choice Sherlock instead.

That would be awesome! Christian Bale comes to mind, too, because he's British, flawless and an amazing actor, but.. I think he does better with badass movies like Batman and Terminator more than shows (as awesome as it is, too, but very different) like Doctor Who.

Someone added Summer Glau. Wow, that wouldn't be such a bad idea :P Even if it'd be weird (at least for a while) for the Doctor to be a woman, it'd be quite a change. And really, the Doctor doesn't always HAVE TO be British, even if I do love that about him.
