I love the dialogue but I absolutely HATE the deleted song. It should have stayed deleted.
This is why I have the 1996 edition of the Pocahontas VHS, complete with epic win serious Mulan trailer.

The meeting is probably the most boring scene in the whole movie. I just want to scream "Just do something already!"

John Smith is thinking: "DANG."
Pocahontas is thinking: "DRAMATIC POSE. DRAMATIC POSE."

I really can't decide. I love all these scenes so much(: but I guess if I had to choose one it would be this one. And I completely agree with DreamyGal. I think "If I Never Knew You" is one of the most beautiful Disney songs out there.

I don't like this scene as much. To me it doesn't make sense that Pocahontas simply closes her eyes, remembers something that Grandmother Willow says, then five seconds later opens her eyes and understands the English language. lol But it's a Disney movie, so what do you expect? XD
