Makes more sense if you ask me. Attina has a crown similar to her father's so I think it symbolizes her being the oldest. Alana is suppose to be the second oldest and she's the only other princess with a crown so that makes more sense. Just my opinion.

I'm just going by what it says in a book I have. It's called Ariel and the Mysterious World Above, and it's one of those books that accompanies a story told on tape. Anyway, it says in it that Aquata is the eldest. I don't know if it would be considered strictly canon though.

I don't know. Attina is the eldest in Ariel's beginning, and yes she has that crown and she looks older and more mature than Aquata, but why is Aquata mentioned first in the song "Daughters of Triton" if she's not the eldest?

She looks the oldest and acts the oldest. I think she looks older even the first one.
