Disney\'s hit "Frozen," which has become the highest-grossing animated feature of all time, was one of the most pirated films of the year, according to Variety.

Torrent users across the world downloaded versions of the film 30 million times. "Frozen" came in behind "The Wolf of Wall Street," which was the most-pirated film of 2014. SciFi and fantasy films led the pack in illegal torrent downloads with a list that also included "RoboCop" (both the 2014 release and 1987 original), "Gravity," "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug," "Thor: The Dark World," "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," “The Legend of Hercules" and “X-Men: Days of Future Past." The Academy Award-winning film "12 Years a Slave" was number 10 on the list.

"Frozen," which features the Academy Award-winning single "Let It Go," became the highest-grossing animated film when it surpassed the $1 billion mark in March. The film features songs by Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez.

Directed by Chris Buck ("Tarzan," "Surf\'s Up") and Jennifer Lee (screenwriter "Wreck-It Ralph") from a screenplay by Lee, the voice cast of the film features Kristen Bell ("Forgetting Sarah Marshall,"

The Crucible), Idina Menzel (Wicked, If/Then), Jonathan Groff (Spring Awakening), Tony Award nominees Josh Gad (The Book of Mormon) and Santino Fontana (Cinderella), Alan Tudyk (Prelude to a Kiss) and Ciarán Hinds (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof).

Here\'s how the film, produced by Peter Del Vecho, is described: "Fearless optimist Anna (voice of Bell) sets off on an epic journey—teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (voice of Groff) and his loyal reindeer Sven—to find her sister Elsa (voice of Menzel), whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf (voice of Gad), Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom."
