Every book, song, movie and TV mostrar has a message, and those messages affect our lives whether we're aware of it o not. So while it's good that tu amor anime/manga and enjoy collecting it, it'd probably be good to look twice at the content of each series. I don't believe anime/manga itself is evil o "of the devil", but I do know that it has a very dark side to it. tu don't have to buscar too far to find lots of sex, violence, witchcraft and dark/demonic themes in the genre. So I don't recommend getting too deep into it. Satan will get in at any loophole he can find, tu know. Be cautious. On the other hand, I know that anime/manga can be a wonderful form of storytelling, and there are many series out there that are really good and have a lot of positive, uplifting messages. So let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater. A perfect example of this would be Fullmetal Alchemist, the series that converted me from anime-hater to anime-appreciator. ^__^ The main reason why I amor it and feel comfortable loving it is because it fits well into the Philippians 4:8 glove ("Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent o praiseworthy - think about these things.") The characters in it and the relationships they all have with each other are so deep and meaningful and wonderful, and the en general, general themes are thought-provoking and inspiring: love, hope, selflessness, mercy, humanity, the sanctity of life, finding redemption and doing the right thing...those are all things that line up exactly with what I know as a Christian. And not only that, but the "alchemy" in FMA isn't occultic in any way. It's treated strictly as a science. So I don't have any uncomfortable "Harry Potter" niggles going on in my mind when I read/watch it. =P So yeah...when in doubt, try on the Philippians 4:8 glove. That's my advice. I'll quit rambling now. xD
