That was the pregunta jesús asked the women at the well, as tu read in John 4:7. Why would jesús need man to do him a favor in the first place? Is He not the Almighty God who can do whatever He wants? So why would He need to ask a foreign women to give Him some water? Why would He ask tu for a favor today?

You can respond like so many others do and say 'just leave me alone, I don't need you' and he probably would. tu look at him just like one of these annoying insurance sales men that really don't want to leave tu alone until they got tu to either buy something from them o throw something...

Josie ran.

“Maybe I made a mistake thinking you’d understand!”

“Well maybe I made a mistake
marrying you!”

She ran, not heeding the tempest that tore at her clothes nor caring where she fled to as long as it was someplace far from home. Away from the chaos of her fighting parents and the hopelessness of the choice she was faced with.

“A tumor?”

“’s pressing on your brain stem and growing very rapidly. If it isn’t taken care of soon, it will be life-threatening...the surgery, however, would cost tu your hearing... Permanently...”

Her corazón pounded in time with her feet;...

I'm taking a history course this year, and I was supposed to write an essay on the reasons for success of Christianity. Enjoy!

Today, cristianismo is one of the most wide-spread religions of the world. But its history is filled with bloodshed and violence; early Christians had to endure horrific punishments for their faith. There are many stories of martyrs being stoned to death; of Christians’ bodies being used as torches to light Roman feasts; of people being crucified, sometimes upside-down, simply because they refused to renounce jesús Christ as their saviour. In the midst of such persecution,...

1. Pray
2. Go to cama on time.
3. Get up on time so tu can start the día unrushed.
4. Say No to projects that won't fit into your time schedule, o that will compromise your mental health.

5. Delegate tasks to capable others.
6. Simplify and unclutter your life.
7. Less is more. (Although one is often not enough, two are often too many.)
8. Allow extra time to do things and to get to places.

9. Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over time; don't lump the hard things all together.
10. Take one día at a time.
11. Separate worries from concerns. If a situation is a concern, find...

hola I wanted to introduce a new series on a huge topic. I know I don't have all the respuestas but I can find them out. Everyone has faith no matter what they might say. They might not have faith in the same thing I do but we do.You cannot see wind, but tu know it's there. When tu reach for the light switch do tu think twice about whether o not the light will come on?
To give tu a better picture, I want to tell tu a story. There was a five año old boy who was in a plane. The plane goes into turbulence. All the passengers are freaking out, except the little boy. The flight attendant asked...

The Cross & The Fish - The Symbols Of Christianity
Happy Reformation día everyone! Brothers and sisters, let us rejoyce for today we commemorate the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation. Exactly on this very day, 500 years ago, in a city of Wittenberg, Germany a certain Augustinian monk has made a history. His name was Martin Luther, and he has truly reformed the Church. It was on October 31,1517, at the eve of the All Saints' Day, o All Hallows' día back then to be exact, when Martin Luther has made public the proclamation of true cristianismo aka the 95 Theses publicado on the church door. It was the día that has forever change the Church....

Hello everyone so I wanted to let tu guys know something because I feel jesús telling me to warn his followers about what I been seeing and hearing about and of course am just the messenger and in the end tu make the choose to believe it o not but of course i'll mostrar a bit of prove too. So it all started this año when I came across a video that really change my mindset of how I realize it was no más games and it's time to walk with jesús again but this time for real and of course am not perfect and were all sinners but the point am trying to make on which video I came a cruzar, cruz had to do...

Last year, I wrote an articulo where I talked about Carrie Fisher's death, because I thought it would be an interesting idea to talk about, especially to close off the year. So, I decided to do the same, but this time, I want to talk about a topic that's been heavily debated por millions across the planet. I'm not trying to be super philosophical, but rather share with tu my point of view.

A few days ago, I decided to look up a few videos about souls and the afterlife. I look up a video that talked about theories of what could happen. Most of them seemed reasonably beliveable, except for the...

Well, I've been on fanpop for a while, and now I think it is time to tell my testimony.

I was born into a Christian family, went to church every week, and "accepted" jesús when I was 8.

Did I understand, no, I wasn't a Christian, I still did the things of the world, I sinned, I had a short-temper, and I didn't care.

My short-temper was horrible, no one would play anything with me, without me getting angry at them for changing the rules, making up the game, o cheating. The actions from resulting from my temper caused me to sin alot.

Well, my family eventually moved, and I was ok with it, b/c it...

So I'm a little frustrated. I'll just state that right now. Partly, because there is a difference between having faith, and being a unique individual with your own opinions, beliefs, ideas, attitudes, virtues and vices.

I have seen at least two picks on this spot that I can think of off the parte superior, arriba of my head that have asked the general question, "Can tu be Christian if tu are/believe/think [Insert Supposed Vice/Sin/Evil Thing Here]?" But they aren't the only places I see it. I hear it from friends. I see it in foros both on fanpop and off of it. And it really, really bugs me.

I don't care what...

I've noticed that recently there have been a lot of non-Christians on this spot. I'm fine with that. But when a non-Christian goes onto this spot just to criticize and insult our religion.... Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this activity is similar to that of an "Internet Troll". If tu really want to argue about the beliefs and values of cristianismo o try to prove it wrong, there is a place for that and it's called The debate Spot. I'm very tempted to name names, but I won't.

I think that's all that needs to be said. Please don't criticize me about the length of this, it was meant purely as a spot announcement, not an article, but fanpop hasn't got that feature yet so I'll have to make do with escritura it as an article.

Here's a lil something I'd like to talk about here: Science

As lots of tu know, I'm a Christian and all that. And well..IMHO, Science itself was never bad o wrong. I like it, so I have nothing against Athiests. It's just that sometimes they go too far with it. I mean, making medicine and trying to help people--that's great. That's AWESOME. But...when they use it to clone and do other things that no human should ever have access to, that's when it's bad. And like, why? Why is it that Atheists trust Science? It's flawed like we all are. We are all imperfect, and science was made por imperfect people. So..why? Why would u trust something that's just as flawed as u are?

Matthew 28:19-20 describes how we must spread the Word of jesús Christ. We should teach everyone—Christians and nonbelievers alike—about God. Tell them to believe and then strengthen their faith. Try to teach as many places as tu can. Teach them the rules and poesía of the Bible. It doesn’t matter what they say about your beliefs, tu know you’re right and that God is with you.
Once the Holy Spirit came at the Pentecost, the Apostles were now full of strength to do what jesús told them. First, Peter healed a crippled beggar in the name...

"Alright fine, he was not a good human teacher. Why should I believe he was the Son of God and not a liar?"

The Bible contains many prophecies about the Messiah written hundreds of years before jesús was born. These include when He would be born, where He would be born and how he would die.

Jesus fulfilled all of these propecies in his lifetime. Some he could contol, such as entering Jerusalem on a donkey, but many others such as being born in Bethlehem o being betrayed for 30 pieces of silver were completely beyond His control.

Beyond all the prophetic evidence, jesús told his followers very...

(No offense intended, although I'm sure some will be taken. This isn't meant to belittle your beliefs o the power of your prayers, it's meant to mostrar why your prayers may offend people)

I am an Atheist. Most of tu know that. tu know that I wander around on the cristianismo spot so that I can try and understand God and Christianity, even if I don't believe in it. Does my mere presence offend some people here? Does it offend anyone here that I don't like being prayed for?

Try to think about this reasonably. I'm assuming that tu don't believe in Allah, the Muslim God. Imagine that tu sat down...

I call myself a Luciferian most of the time, I can call myself a Christian and a Satanist sometimes, but if I feel más close to God, I'll probably call myself a Christian, o if I feel closer to Lucifer, I'll call myself a Satanist, but in the the end I'm a Luciferian.

No, I don't call myself a Luciferian because I amor Lucifer más than God. I amor God and Lucifer equally. I see Lucifer as what he truly was and still is, before Lucifer had fallen from Heaven.
I believe that God is the one and only God, though, and who had created Adam and Eve and who had vowed to protect us.

I believe that...

The día after navidad 2004, my brother and I decided to go trineo on the colina that ran down to our school buildings. I was ten, and he was seven. That morning as I woke up, however, I had a strange feeling. I felt a sense of foreboding, warning me to take caution. Because of this, we brought our trusty dog, Shadow, along. We were sledding, and one time, my brother pushed off extra hard and flew down the hill. He was going too fast and was going to run into the muro of the school. But I was too frightened to call out. Shadow, however, wasn't. She let out a shrill bark, which was the only...

Jesus Christ Superstar is a rock opera about the last seven days of the life of Christ before His crucifixion. Critics have dado it rave reviews. Even some churches have sung its praises. Some have even hailed it as a means of presenting Christ to young people in a way they will understand and accept.

However, no one who examines it in the light of Scripture can be happy with the opera. It is impossible to see the Superstar as anything but one of the "false Christs" of whom the Lord jesús Christ warned us (Matthew...

I need a resurrection somehow

I have no problem with homosexuality, and either way, the bible contradicts itself in that regard when it states that tu should not lie to people, not even yourself. In other words, being gay is NOT a problem, lying to yourself about being gay, however, is. The bible NEVER states that homosexuality is a sin though. That problem has arisen due to people who are both Christian and afraid of something different. These people tend to have issues with different races as well, proving that it ISN'T the bible that states "homosexuality is a problem" so much as people who have high positions (or think...
