a diferent vrision of the Bible?

okay, i've been thinking, 'people don't like to read the bible because it's boring o confusing, so how about I write it in story format, tu know what i mean?
but would that be a bad idea?
i asked God about it, and the first thought that came to my head was, of coures it'll be fine, just as long as tu keep true to God's actual words.
but just to be extra safe, i wanted other opinions, (aw, i'm such a doubter)

Thanks

clarklover makes a good point. However, I think the Revelations warning was against altering the word of God as a means of deception. A warning to false prophets, for example. Not to helping people understand the Word of God. Pastors and ministers do that all the time.

There are several children's Bibles already in existence that are written in simple terms and often illustrated to keep the child's interest. Take link for example. There are several more. These sorts of Biblical introductions are used in some Sunday schools in an attempt to explain some of the más complicated stories, and get kids más interested in learning about their religion. In short, your idea has been tried before, and often to the benefit of the church.

Be VERY CAREFUL dear. There are, and I have one, Holy Bibles written so that it is easier to read. Mine is the NIV (New International Version) Study Bible. Rev. 22:18,19 "I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away his share in the árbol of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this book."

no it is not all right. the real Bible came from the Textus Receptus which was translated from the original Greek New Testament. all the other Bibles are crap because they are changing the actual words of God and that is not good. the real Bible is the King James Version and thats that. do not believe o read the other versions because they are junk. i am helping tu out por telling tu to stay away from those false prophets. please stay away.

the King james version is, need i remind you, also changed from greek to english, so the words are changed in that one too, and words are SOMETIMES changed to SIMULAR words because we don't have an exact translation from greek to english, it's the same with all languages.

May I also add that the King James Bible has a political bias aimed at validating the structure of the Anglican Church. It also wasn't the FIRST Middle/Mocern English translation, but was commissioned to "correct" perceived inaccuracies of anterior translations. Before the KJV, there were the Great Bible and the Bishop's Bible. After it, well... there have been several other translations, most notably out of Middle English into Modern English. The KJV itself has been revised over the years. There's even an American KJV, and a "Revised KJV", etc, etc.

What I would do is be careful not to change the meaning o add names that aren't originately in there. If people around tu think it's boring share with them something in real life perspective. For example, I think God has dado me the ability to draw extraordinary things. I used that gift to tell many stories with pictures. One story in particularis the story of Jacob and Esau. The picture shows stacks of money, a castle, a crown, and a golden staff siguiente to one man who's giving it up for a football. This is because he is bored. The point was he was willing to trade something so large to satisfy his boredom. Do not change the meaning.
