I'm just curious as to whether or not this is considered "making fun of"... And if it is, is it acceptable? I mean, I always think of it like this: if christians are allowed (and in fact are considered to be good christians if they do this) to tell me I'm a bad person and I'm gonna rot in hell just because I do not believe in god (and for christians, hell is bad so what they are essentially doing is insulting atheists in the rudest, most horrific way possible, I guess, in their view), then surely if I say "ha ha, your beliefs seem silly to me", is that not a glaring double-standard? Atheists are not allowed to see the humour in the world, but christians can be rude in the name of the lord and that is fine? Am I missing something?! LOL!

We question it, but while doing it we might as well be kinda offensive some times, from a Christian's point of view.

I haven't seen anything here that's directly offensive and meant to cause permanent damage. Most of what I've seen is for the sake of humor. They don't have to be here.

I think Christianity feels very malicious towards us though.

Yes, a lot of things said here take on a very bitter tone, and some people are lashing out after feeling suppressed their entire lives. But there are still a lot of good conversations and debates, and, well, words shouldn't hurt anyone who's prepared to hear them.

I'm always malicious and I think I have a right to, since christians are always hating on me.

I don't do this, but I've noticed many posts on here that are harsh-sounding. Honestly, this type of shit is childish from either side. Both Christians and Atheists alike can be dicks to each other, as well as kind. And I'd like to see more kindness.
