I've seen a lot more shounen, but I also completly adore the shoujo anime/manga I've seen/read. :3

I prefer shoujo over shounen, to be precise. I actually prefer slice of life, drama/romance, comedy/slice of life and music based anime series. Shoujo anime are usually okay, but they can be a little cheesy at times, I've noticed. I don't really like shounen much, except for One Piece and kind of Naruto. I find them to be far too long to keep my interest there and they have so many cliches in them, compared to other genres. I think action-based anime, that aren't shounen, are usually better - I mean, look at Akame Ga Kill, or Blade and Soul.

I don't really care if an anime is Shounen or Shoujo, as long as it has a good story and good characters. But when I search for new anime to watch, most anime I think seem interesting are either Shounen or neither/both and most of my top 10 favorite anime (and manga) are Shounen. So...Shounen it is xD

I love Shounen but sometimes there's a bit too much fanservice so I drop the show midway the only Shounen anime that had a big amount of fanservice in it I didn't drop was Kill la Kill, other Shounens like Naruto, One Piece, Assassination Classroom, Hunter x Hunter and Noragami I definitely didn't drop because they were amazing! I did drop Fairy Tail though if you were wondering (I just got really sick of Lucy and I couldn't bare to watch the show anymore just because of her character). I love Shoujo too! Animes like Ouran Highschool Host Club are awesome and animes that lean to both Shounen and Shoujo such as Free! and Haikyu!! I really like because they have such good storylines and usually cute guys. So in conclusion I love both Shounen and Shoujo! <3 ^-^ >.< <3
