Chapter 2: Fateful Encounter during Free Time
“Yes?” he asks back, confused.
“You’re … Nyle, from section A,” he answers.
The guy smiles, “And if I’m not mistaken, tu are the one they call R, o Rheo, from the Student Council, right?”
“Yes,” he respuestas and tells himself, “I can’t believe he knows me though.”
He offers him help on picking the letters up but Nyle refused, telling him he also got the same letter problem to deal with.
“I don’t know but they keep on sending these things,” Nyle says while picking his letters.
“It can’t be helped, Bros. tu guys are two of the most popular here in school!” The other guy barges loudly into the conversation.
Nyle says, “Popular?” He feels embarrassed.
“That’s exactly right! Anyway, I’m R’s friend, Guise. To say the least I’m the only one he got since there is no one else who can stand his attitude.”
“Quit it Guise. You’re so loud,” he says picking his own letters.
“See what I mean, Bro?”
“Uhm … yeah. I guess so,” Nyle smiles.
“Anyway, what are tu looking for?” asks Guise.
“It’s nothing important. Just something from my mom.”
“Mom?”
“Why will your mom send tu letter?” asks Nyle.
“Dunno. Maybe she’s just asking me to go home.”
R is actually leaving separately from his parents. For some reasons he hates them, that’s why he went off. He is currently living in a unit somewhere far from his home.
He continues, “I’m not answering their calls that’s why my mom sent a message that she’ll be sending mail to the school post.”
“I see. tu as well. You’re not staying with your parents,” Nyle says feeling sorry.
“What do tu mean as well?” R asks in a confused tone.
“Huh? No, it’s nothing,” he respuestas as he puts the letters back and takes some clothes from his locker.
“By the way, it’s nice meeting you. If tu don’t mind, I’m going to leave. See tu later.” Nyle pardons.
He quickly leaves as if he’s avoiding something, and goes straight to the boy’s changing room.
The soccer match earlier was actually Nyle’s last game in the sports festival and finally he’s free for the rest of the day.
“This feels better,” he tells himself.
He goes outside the building and is heading to somewhere on the school fields, and it’s actually his favorito! sleeping spot.
Meanwhile, R is taken back to the Student Council Office. The president confronts him.
“Where have tu been, R? We’ve been looking for tu a while ago. tu must have reported earlier, tu know that?”
“You’re the only person who is not allowed to call me that name. I’m Rheo.”
She’s pissed, “Whatever. Just don’t forget to finish your work.”
“Work?” he realized something. “Yeah, I remember.”
Whatever the case is, R is seems to be constantly rude to the president. It also seems that he enjoys making her mad.
Later on he leaves the fan letters at the office and goes outside. He arrives on a big tree’s shade and notices someone behind the tree. He goes around the árbol to see who it is.
“N—Nyle?” He noticed it’s him and he’s sleeping soundly on the árbol roots.
He sits and looks at some papers he’s holding. Nyle wakes up eventually and looks around.
“Did I just wake tu up?” R asks without looking around.
Nyle looks at him, “No.” He noticed the papers R’s reading, “What are those?”
“Student Council Papers. It seems that we got a problem on the funds we used for the sports festival.”
“Really? What is it then?” he moves closer.
“That’s what I’m looking for. I don’t know yet,” he sighs.
He looks at the papers as well, “Is it that serious?”
“The Prez dicho it needs to be settled before this día ends. Maybe she got tired of me not reporting to the office,” he says as he smiles.
“Hey, R. I think … I know what the problem is,” he ponders.
He looks at him, “Seriously?”
“Let me,” he grabs the papers and scans the pages.
“Nyle …?”
