Chapter Six: Reality

The weather had taken a turn for the worse, grey clouds had formed in the sky, and rain started to pound the ground, just like in Humphrey's nightmare. Humphrey approached the field that he recognised too well from his nightmare. I have to find Kate. I have to find Kate, Humphrey kept telling himself, just like in the nightmare. She's gonna get herself killed, I just know it. I have to get there before it happens. Humphrey thought. Humphrey ran up the hill, although this time, he was careful, and didn't slip down the hill, giving him precious time to save Kate from her demise. He'd learnt a lot from his nightmare.

Humphrey didn't stop at the parte superior, arriba of the colina like in his nightmare, and kept sprinting across the long field. His chest ached horribly. I'm not cut out for this. Humphrey thought tiredly.

He could see Kate's figure in the distance, he saw the figure of a hunter, aiming his shotgun at Kate, he saw Kate getting ready to pounce and attack the hunter, Humphrey finally reached Kate and jumped into the air, and pushed Kate out of the way while she was in midair. The shotgun fired, and Humphrey fell to the ground, unconscious, he had got hit instead of Kate.

Kate landed on the ground, and saw Humphrey lying backside down with a pool of blood seeping out from underneath him. Her eyes widened in shock, she attacked the hunter, and bit down on his hand as hard as she could, the hunter screamed in pain and dropped his shotgun, he then turned and ran away, clutching his hand.

Kate immediately came to Humphrey's side, and stared in disbelief at Humphrey's motionless body. He…saved me. If it weren't for Humphrey I would have died. Kate realised.

"Humphrey!" Kate cried, shaking him. "Come on Humphrey, wake up! tu were right. I shouldn't have come out here. It was a stupid thing to do. I'm sorry." Kate apologised. "Please Humphrey, I need you!" Kate declared.

This is all my fault. If only I'd listened to him, he'd be alive. Kate thought. She looked at Humphrey, she let out a sob, and started crying uncontrollably into his fur, heartbroken.

"It's not fair! It's not fair!" Kate repeated, as she continued to cry into Humphrey's fur.

Kate had no idea how long she cried for. But she finally stopped, and after one long last look at Humphrey's body, Kate walked away, her tail brushed past Humphrey's nose as she walked away.

"Kate…that tickles."

Kate's eyes widened in disbelief, and she turned around. She saw Humphrey, eyes open, staring at her.

"Hey." Humphrey greeted her.

"Humphrey…you're…you're…alive!" Kate screamed with delight. Kate ran back to his side.

"Are tu okay?" Kate asked.

"I've felt better." Humphrey replied.

"I thought I'd lost you." Kate told him.

"I've thought the same thing about tu a few times now." Humphrey told her.

"Humphrey, I'm sorry for saying I didn't need you. I didn't mean it. Of course I need you." Kate said.

"I know tu didn't mean it, I can't blame tu either, tu were in a rage, what with Lilly being attacked and all." Humphrey said.

"Oh my God, Lilly!" Kate said. "I almost forgot about her."

"Let's go check on her then." Humphrey said.

"Are tu sure?" Kate asked.

"Yeah, tu know I'm fine." Humphrey told her.

"Can tu get up? tu look pretty hurt." Kate asked, looking at the pool of blood around Humphrey's body.

"I'll try." Humphrey said. Humphrey rolled over slowly, and tried to get up with difficulty. Kate saw a massive wound across the middle of his back, blood all around it.

"Looks like it only cut through you." Kate observed.

"Yeah." Humphrey said, wincing slightly in pain. "Wow, those hunters really have lousy aims." Humphrey dicho with a smile.

Kate laughed. "You look a little más cheery." Kate observed.

"Well, there's a reason for that." Humphrey told her.

"What?" Kate asked.

"It's a bit of a long story." Humphrey said.

"How about tu tell it to me on the way back?" Kate suggested.

"Okay." Humphrey said.

They started walking, and Humphrey told her the whole story about his nightmare.

AN: Just one más chapter to go. But again you'll have to wait 24 hours. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! tu see the pattern yet?

This was something that I did for my escritura class last año and it ended up being a bit different from the original Missing Parents so I decided to share it.

It was a calm día at Jasper Park in the Western Pack. The pack of lobos were going about their day, but in the guarida, den of the leader, there was much excitement. It was Father’s día and Kate and her husband, Humphrey, were busy getting ready for her parents to arrive. Kate’s sister, Lilly, and her husband, Garth, had come to help as well. Humphrey was busy keeping their three pups, Stinky, Claudette, and Runt out of trouble.

It wasn’t...

I decided to add a section for references and callbacks since these stories have quite a few of them. There are a couple of things that I don’t really count as references since they’re pretty much a constant in the movies. One of them is Runt climbing a árbol and the other is Humphrey logboarding, both of which I tried to include at least once in the stories that I could include them in.

Newest Additions

Right away, I made a reference to the segundo movie por addressing the fact that Garth and Lilly were living in the tall grass. There’s a reference to the first movie after Kate finds out...

Now it was time to start the segundo part of Viggo’s plan, which was also based off something else that I made a lot of changes to. Again, it started similar to the piece that had inspired it and relied on Viggo’s main campsite in the Northern Region being destroyed and Viggo looking horribly defeated and in a state that we have never seen him in.

Robert going rogue was an idea I got from the piece that inspired this segundo part of Viggo’s plan, except instead of it being an actual mutiny, it ends up being another massive deception por Viggo, hence why I called this part of the story, “His...

I had also decided to tell the story of what happened to Garth’s mother. I had very briefly touched on it in Missing Parents, but now, I had más ideas for más detail and really wanted to tell that part of the story too. First, I had to introduce Garth’s mother before she died so the readers could establish some kind of connection to her and over the course of escritura the segundo chapter, I found myself emphasizing that Garth had a very special bond with his mother, which I knew would make her death even más painful.

Since this was essentially Humphrey’s origin story, I couldn’t not...

Chapter 25: The Betrayal

Viggo had just barely gotten back to his base in time. After escaping from the valley, he ran as fast as he could through the woods toward what remained of his campsite in the Northern Region. por the time he finally arrived, half of his upper arm was swollen and the skin was just starting to turn dark.

He stumbled into his tent and immediately began digging through the chest behind his escritorio where he kept the antivenom he had specially gotten for this very scenario. The antivenom did the job and for a mes o so afterward, Viggo took the time he needed to recover from...

Chapter 23: The Final Battle of Jasper Park

The massive group of lobos had partially descended into the valley with Humphrey and the others standing up front, watching Viggo who was still standing in the middle of the valley. Humphrey had explained his plan to everyone, although there were some objections, mainly from Steven which was no surprise.

“This plan is insane!” he said. “You know that, right? If I’m saying it’s insane, it’s actually insane.”

“You know what? It is insane,” Jax added. “And for once, it wasn’t our insane plan.”

“If tu go out there alone, Viggo...

Chapter 9: Cliffside Ambush

Everyone began to get settled and Adam started mostrando Humphrey and víbora, viper through the maze inside the cliff. It was pretty dark inside for a human, but Humphrey and Adam had no problem seeing down the many tunnels and Adam knew his way around.

“We dug this out in case we were ever attacked again so we’d have a seguro way to retreat without anyone knowing,” Adam explained. “Each guarida, den has a tunnel in the back that both connects the dens, and also leads into the maze.”

“So, what’s on the other side of this cliff anyway?” Humphrey asked.

“Not much, really,”...

(Note: Before we get started, I need to say that right now, we're in the middle of switching out computers so I can't guarantee a new chapter every day.)

Chapter 1: Humphrey's Return

No one could believe what they were seeing. Everyone stared in disbelief as Humphrey stood before them. It wasn’t possible. Humphrey was dead. He had been for seventeen years. But there he was, right before their eyes. And Stinky’s nose never lied.

However, it didn’t look like the Humphrey they remembered. He had multiple scars all over his body, all from cuchillo wounds. On his...

Chapter 19: lobo Fight

Back at the sandstone cliffs, many, many years later, Adam had become a great leader. One of the greatest in the region, in fact. He was almost a fully grown wolf, just entering his twenties. He had led the pack for eleven years and things had been fairly peaceful since Steven left and the dens were complete.

But all of that changed one día when word began to spread of a human who had recently gone on a killing spree throughout Canada. However, he hadn’t been killing other humans. He had been killing wolves, wiping out entire packs. The only name he was known por was “The...

Finally! The exerpt for the newest and upcoming story in the A&O franchise. In one year, the story will be released in full, but not as one article. Each chapter will have its own article. Starting today o maybe tomorrow, I'll be releasing character profiles, going into some detail about the new characters in the story. I might also release the first chapter a week o two before the 10 año anniversary just to reignite the hype around it since we'll be waiting another year, which works out fine since I'm about halfway done with escritura the story. I hope tu enjoy this little bit of Chapter...

The night sky was dark that night, the light of the stars and moon hidden por a thick blanket of jet-black clouds. From the clouds drifted hundreds of thousands of snowflakes, the winter winds guiding them on their journey to the ground. From the soil, a forest of lodgepole pines stood tall, looming over the snowy, Canadian landscape. A brotherly pair of lobos traveled within their shadows, the eldest of the two in the lead. The younger male stuck closely behind his companion, using him as a shield against the blustering wind. Despite this, snow still managed to cling onto his coat. He growled....

Chapter 10: Ride to Victory

As they retreated through the woods and back towards the valley, Humphrey and the others did so in a way so as not to lose the enemy, but also didn't let them get too close. They just needed to lure them back to the pack and then the real battle would begin.

As they reentered the territory, the lobos stopped and turned around to face back into the woods as the humans and the remaining perros emerged. Humphrey and the others stood with a proud, disciplined, almost militaristic stance, waiting for the trap to be sprung. When the humans appeared out of the woods, they...

Chapter 4: Revenge of a King

The rest of the group was hiding in the bushes just outside the pack borders when they heard Humphrey's terrible scream. The worst part was the fact that they couldn't do anything about it.

Back in the den, one of King's henchwolves entered the cave.

"Sir," he said.

King looked up with a furious look on his face.

"I thought I asked for complete privacy!"

"Sorry sir," the lobo said. "But there are several lobos approaching through the trees."

"Ahh!" King growled in frustration. The lobo quickly left the cave so as to avoid his master's fury.

King looked down at Humphrey,...

Chapter 2: Pack Meeting

That night, Humphrey didn't sleep too well. He was continuing to think about his parents and was talking in his sleep as he did so.

"Mom. Dad. No, don't leave. Help!"

Outside the den, Kate and Winston were quietly talking.

"We can't keep it a secret any longer," Winston said...
