Well, I saw the movie. It was accidental. Me and my friends were going to see that owl movie, but we went into the wrong room. It wasn't our fault, though, the titles were wrong. Well, we decided to just stay there because we were wondering what this movie was like.
It got a lot of laughs from the toddler sitting a few seats down. Other then that, the theater was oddly quiet. The adults had a few laughs here and there, was it was nothing like other comedies I've seen. It was way too quiet. But the movie, Alpha and Omega, didn't deserve noisy laughter anyway.
It was far too predictable. tu could tell the two were going to end up together, and same with Lilly and Garth. And then the two packs would registrarse as one and they will all live happily ever after, blah blah blah.
The plot was a bit sketchy. It seemed like it was all thrown together por the writers and directors over a meal at Denny's. This storyline as been seen already in loads of other movies. Guy likes girl, girl doesn't like guy. Then after a sudden mishap, they are stuck together. Then they bond and eventually fall in love. I'm sure this sounds familiar to all of us.
The howling/dancing scene was pretty awkward. I don't know, it just seemed out of place, like a junior high dance. It brought back horrible memories of those dances. Kate busts out misceláneo moves when they get caught in the middle of a trio of bears. It was pretty cheesy. And also, a half of a log just always so happened to be at the right place at the right time for Humphrey and Kate.
Every movie has the protagonist and the antagonist. Humphrey was obviously the protagonist, but who was the antagonist? The eastern pack weren't that threatening. Tony obviously had a somewhat hidden friendship with Winston. And why did the packs hate eachother anyway? They seemed to leave that part out. They just started hating eachother? Something in the past had to have happened to put the two packs on uneven ground. That should've been cleared up.
The caribou stampede was seen before. The herd galloped through the canyon, and Kate gets injured in the process. In Lion King, the herd of water buffalo galloped through the canyon, and hurting Mufasa in the process. Except he was killed. I think they should've killed Kate. it would've added más emotion. But of course, she lived.
The hidden sex jokes were a little too obvious, so kids would probably be questioning their parents after the movie ended. And the potty jokes were very unappealing.
On the upside, Kate and Humphrey were good singers. And there were a few cute parts. But some of the parts that were supposed to be cute were a little creepy. Like the pato saying Kate looked very pretty while she slept.
Also, the lobos are ugly. they look like people/wolves. Where is their fur, and why do they have human hair? The movie would've been a lot más enjoyable if the wolves... looked like wolves. The animación was outdated. Oh, and Kate and Humphrey obviously had sex afterwards.
Overall, I do not recommend this cutesy predictable animated film. Only see this movie if tu are pre-k o a furry. It's a good film if you're babysitting a little kid so tu want to pass the time. o wait for it to come out on DVD. Me and all my friends decided that the movie was not worth it's money. It was definitely forgettable. Should've saw that owl movie instead. But it was all okay because we got frozen yogurt afterwards.
3/10 stars.
