Fans often want to say thank you to their faves in a big way, and these days celebs\' birthdays are used as an excuse to raise loads of money for charity, seeing as they can already afford to buy all the photoframes, cactuses, book vouchers and fluffy socks in the entire world.

But some clever sausage 5SOS fans came up with the genius idea of buying the boys something OUT of this world, as Ashton revealed in a recent interview that they were once given a STAR by some imaginative fans. A star. A STAR. Wowza.

Chatting to UnrealityTV about the crazy cool things they\'ve been given by fans, Calum said that he\'d been particularly impressed when a generous 5SOSfam member gave him a geetar for his collection.

"A fan wanted to give me a bass, but I was leaving to go to the airport and couldn\'t really take it with me because I felt like it would break", he spilled. "What an amazing present though!"

But if you think that\'s cool, Ashton was blown away when one fan went and gifted them a bloody celestial body, a luminous sphere of plasma, a thermocunleur fusion of hydrogen into helium… Soz, we just felt like we were saying the word \'star\' a lot.

"A fan bought us a star once", Ash said. "A legitimate star. I think we owned it for about a month, and it had the coordinates on it and everything.

"It was registered as the 5SOS star, so that was pretty cool. I just hope it wasn\'t too expensive."

Hmm, we\'re probably a bit too skint to buy the boys an actual star. We might be able to stretch to the magic chocolate variety as long as we\'re allowed to eat half of them too.
