is Kid Flash slower than The Flash and Impulse? and if so why?

Kid Flash (Wally West) is, in fact, slower than The Flash and Impulse. This is because Wally obtained his powers via a duplicated, not-so-accidental accident. Because Wally's duplication of the accident was on a smaller scale, he didn't obtain as much access to the speedforce as Barry had.

Barry obtained his powers via a lightning strike and mixed chemicals spilling on him (as tu may know). He was the segundo Flash, the first being arrendajo, jay Garrick. (Jay obtained his powers via dorment metagenes being activated. He is not related to Barry.) Barry's accident gave him almost full access to the Speed Force, an extra-dimensional energy that feeds all the speedsters' powers.

However, Barry's powers skipped a generation and were passed down to Bart Allen, his grandson. (Bart's parents are Don Allen and Meloni Thawne.) Bart was born with all of Barry's super speed, if not more.

EDIT: After doing a bit más research, I came across the information that Wally's lack of speed is due to a mental block he put up in order to not replace Barry when he became the Flash. While he was truly slower than Barry and Impulse when he was a teen, he developed his powers and was able to go faster than the Flash - he just didn't let himself. When he took over the capucha, chimenea when Barry died, Wally promised himself that he would never replace his uncle. However, after an encounter with Reverse-Flash, Eobard Thawne, Wally overcame that mental block, because he was más afraid of Eobard replacing Barry than he was of himself doing so. Because of this, he became as fast as Barry, and eventually faster. Though he never gained the ability to phase through objects (they just blew up), Wally developed new powers that allowed him to use his speed to kinetically upgrade his attacks, share/steal speed, and super heal others.

So, TD;LR, Wally's slower than Barry and Bart at first, but he grows into his powers and becomes más badass than them all.

well, this is just what my brother imagined, probably when kf got his powers through the incident sometime probably went wrong so it wasn't as strong as flash's accident making him thus less faster but in my opinion the dude probably doesn't have something that's probably in allen genes

Kid Flash is slower than the Flash and Impulse because when Barry Allen got his powers he did it in a police lab and Bart Allen is his grandson so he has his powers. When Wally West recreated Barry Allen's experiment to get his powers he did it in his garaje with less quantity of the ingredients.

Either That His Metabolism Is Low So He Gets Slower And Slower o He Is Not In The Flash Bloodline So He Is Slow

He is KINDA slow for reasons I don't know why, but I think it was because of a malady he somehow caught from I don't know where and it slowed down his metabolism, which is bad if tu are a speedster!

kid flash is slower than the flash and impulse. this is because impulse was born with the power, so his speed will stay the same and the flash got his power when he was an adult so his speed will not grow. kid flash got his powers when he was younger so his power grow with him. so 1 día he will be faster than the flash and impulse(faster than the speed of light)

Flash (barry allen) got his speed from an "accidental" experiment. Impulse (bart allen) inherited his power from the barry. Kid flash (wally west) made a scientific experiment, and recreated the "accident" that happened to his uncle (in-law) and only acheived the speed of sound. Unlike the allen family which they reached the speed of light, and can shift their thaughts at that speed while wally can only shift his thoughts at the speed of sound. Wally in the this young justice universe won't acheive light speed because in this the writers have taken out the speedforce (which they emphasized) and that was originally gave wally west the achievement of reaching light speed and in the universe with the speedforce he didn't do an experiment to give himself the flashes powers, he was dado his speed in the same experiment as barry allen. Thus saying wally is slower than barry and bart because in this universe he gave himself speed through an experiment and the speedforce doesn't exist. If he could have surpassed his limitation we didnt see it since he died.

Also people that say they have heard that he can't go at light speed in comic libros is after infinite crisis whne barry allen dies (supposedly, actually entering the speedforce). He has a mental block stopping him to run so fast because he thought he would have surpassed barry which he looked up to. He afterwards got over this in a fight with Eaborne thawne in a battle to the death.

If tu are referring to the last episode of Young Justice, Kid Flash is slower because he is out of practice. In that episode he hadn't used his powers in weeks/months.

barry is the speed force,plus he got it through a large lightning bolt with lots of chemicals,bart is his descendant so he is born with the speed force,and wally was a human when he made a much smaller accident to get the speed force.

in the comics the 2 most popular flashes are barry alen and wally west as flash the bolth surpass light speed but when barry alen is the flash he will surpass light speed but his side kick wally west as kid flash can not. wally west as kid flash can bearly break the speed of sound inplse bart alen can run at light speed and is seen in the comics as a faster kid flash
