will be starting production next year, which means that the next few months are going to be packed with all kinds of casting rumors. Surely the movie will introduce characters we\'ve never seen before on the big screen, but one interesting twist coming is that the film will also be looking for young versions of Cyclops, Jean Grey and Storm (who were played by James Marsden, Famke Janssen and Halle Berry, respectively, in the original

trilogy). At this stage in the game we have no idea who 20th Century Fox is looking at for the new parts, but now Marsden himself has put in his two cents about who his younger replacement should be.

Currently out promoting his role in the upcoming Nicholas Sparks adaptation

, Marsden recently sat down for an interview with Yahoo! and revealed that he would be on-board with the role of Young Cyclops went Luke Bracey, who actually plays younger version of his character in the romantic drama. Asked how he would feel about the Australian actor taking his place in the

franchise, the Original Cyclops said it would be great - and then jokingly added, "Then he could just eventually take over being me. Then I would never get another role as long as I live!"

At the same, Marsden also admitted that he doesn\'t really know much about what\'s going on behind the scenes of the

franchise, saying that actors are the last to know most of the time. Said the

"It�s all just speculation at this point. If [recasting] does happen, it was because of a timeline shift, maybe like 20 years later or something? I know so little about that whole world." For those unfamiliar with the up-and-coming actor, Luke Bracey played Cobra Commander in

. His big break is still in the works, however, as he was the one selected to filled Keanu Reeves\' shoes for the upcoming

remake (which is still filming). It\'s rather convenient that he is Marsden\'s co-star in

, but he does fit the Young Cyclops profile: he\'s 25 years old, and has brown hair and a strong chin:
