Catherine and Heathcliffe are such complex characters, sometimes whilst lectura the book tu don't know weather to hate them o like them, Heathcliffe is far from your typical hero, he is dark brooding, unperdicatble, coarse in manner and speech, Catherine I feel is sometimes deserving of a good slap, she is flirty and flighty and has no qualms about marrying poor devoted Linton despite being very much in amor with Heathcliffe publicado hace más de un año

I'm almost done with the book. My aunt gave it to me when I was in middle school, but I had a hard time lectura it. I figure at 29, it's about time. Hands down one if my favorites. I shamefully admit to lectura on Wikipedia what happens as I still struggle with the writing, but it gets easier with every page. Geez... I just watched the movie for the first time :O god, i heard a lot about the story but i didn't knew it :o i always wanted to read it... and now i want it más than ever... One of the things I amor about this book is that it shouldnt work, but it is brillant, so it does work.
I mean, alot of the characters are unlikeable. Catherine can be a brat, and she dies half way throught the book. Then Heathcliff becomes a monster.
I also amor that, in the end, it seems like the siguiente generation (Cathy and Hareton) is on a better path. publicado hace más de un año
