Performing Arts in the year 2008 WICKED, that is rated as being one of Broadway's biggest blockbusters, is going to be making a comeback to the Ft. link Lauderdale in this spring for a special and a limited 4-week engagement.
“Wicked,” is without any doubt the most popular musical that is going to be making a return to link after a couple of years break. The girls who play the lead I it are Chandra Lee Schwartz who plays the role of Glinda who is the Good Witch and Jackie Burns plays the role of Elphaba who is the Wicked and very green Witch. Together they make a fine pair and are a treat to the eyes.
Schwartz’ soprano has done her well and here in the respective musical she has given an awesome comedic performance. I would not be wrong to say that she has given link Elle Woods a serious run for her money. Burns has done an awesome job as the outcast Elphaba.
A couple of actors from Chicago’s earlier “Wicked” are also included in this musical that is Barbara Robertson and Gene Weygandt.
