OMG he must feel horrible!!! What does a person in love live for? To make the other happy! And he can't because all she wants is to be human and he can't give that to her! Besides the feeling of failure he might have, he knows that even though she loves him, she would give him up to be human. If you read Midnight Sun Partial Draft on stepheniemeyer.com, Edward and Emmett are discussing love on their hunting trip. Edward brings up Rosalie's wishes, and Emmett kind of gets quiet and very un-Emmettish =) I feel so sad for him!

I'd have my feelings pretty dang hurt, cuz she'd trade ANYTHING, including him, to be human. He should feel loved though, cuz my sister wouldn't, lol, she loves Emmett to death!

Poor Emmet :(.. I thought about that in the book.. Like Emmets not enough to be vampire for!? insulting. I love Emmet! :(

Rosalie is such a selfish bitch for choosing her desire (or obsession) to be human over emmett. but wouldn't emmett also want to make rose happy if there was ever a chance like that even knowing he'd probaly be depressed if she chose that.
