Diesel 10: Let me explain. First, we use the "special surprise." Then, we get rid of the steamies.

James: What special surprise?
Thomas: The silver tank car I stopped to look at.
Diesel 10: Precisely. The special surprise is a nerve gas called Delta 9.
Percy: Delta 9?
James: What does that do?
Diesel 10: It puts people to sleep.
Thomas: What for?
Diesel 10: So that no one can stop us!...

Mily was taken into the Northern Errol Line's yards. Corsair was on Mily's left side, and Mr. Bruce was in front of her in his tower.

Mily: *Looking up at Mr. Bruce*
Mr. Bruce: tu really are the kindest engine on this island. Instead of stopping, tu could have run me over. That's what everyone else would have done.
Mily: I'm not that kind of engine. Violence never solves anything. Neither does brainwashing people.
Mr. Bruce: Well. Good thing we're not brainwashing them. We're using gas to make them do what I say.
Mily: It's kind of the same thing.
Mr. Bruce: No it's not.

Narrator: It was very cold on the Island Of Errol. Mr. Swanson was talking to the narrow gauge engines on his railroad.
Mr. Swanson: We're supposed to get a lot of snow on our line. I want tu all to work your hardest.

The Island Of Sodor is well known for it's trains, and talking vehicles. However, not everyone rode on trains. Some people used automobiles to travel around Sodor. When it was first found in 1810 por the British, there were no automobiles on Sodor until 1930. At that time, the only cars on Sodor were manufactured por Vauxhall. In 1941, Sir Tophamm Hat arrived, and started building the North Western Railway. He had one of the Vauxhalls until 1943, when he ordered a Rolls Royce.

In September of 1945, when Thomas arrived at the Island Of Sodor, some people were beginning to get bored of the Vauxhalls....

After the scottish won the battle for Tidmouth Sheds, they had a party, got drunk, and forgot all about the fight.

Meanwhile, Diesel 10, and his group continued searching for the magic buffers.

Splatter: How do we know which one is the magic buffers?
Dodge: Yeah boss. How do we know?
Diesel 10: If we send freight cars flying into them, and they go right through. We'll know.
Splatter: Oh. Is that all?
Diesel 10: Yeah! Now keep looking!!
Splatter & Dodge: Yes sir. *Looking for buffers*

Back at Tidmouth Sheds.

Thomas: It's good that we got the sheds back when those drunk soldiers left.

One night at Tidmouth Sheds, the engines gathered around Sean to hear his story.

"Once upon a time," began Sean,

I was working for a big railroad in the United States. One part of the line I worked on was called the Hudson Division. It was a nice place, though the weather was cold, especially in winter.
