It seems like a character is hardly introduced before he or she gets killed off.

I wish that they would get more in depth with some of the characters and the history behind them and make it clear exactly how much time has elapsed. In reality, Anne held him off for years.

I agree with suesam10. I know ALL about the tudors (i am a tudor historian) and yes, they are missing out on a lot of stuff, but like the description of the show says... an epic tale based LOOSLEY around history regarding King Henry VII

The Tudors as a TV Series is moving at a good pace and keeps you interested, but it's like every historical tv/film if you want to know more about the subject, go and out and read, watch films and visit the beautiful houses, the whole rich history is out there, go on and indulge :)

I wish they would continue the series after Henry's death with the lives of Mary and Elizabeth. Afterall, the name of the show is "The Tudors!"

I'll miss the show when Henry dies, I don't know why they don't go to a fifth season to show the lives of Henry's heirs. That would easily get another 2 season with Mary and Elizabeth.

I am okay with the pace of the show but I do have my qualms. They did a good job with establishing a timeline (Anna Bolyn was in two seasons according to her 11 yr relationship with the king and those who where only queen for a couple years were only in half a season) however, it severely erked me how the characters did not gradually age but seemed to drastically change in spurts. take the final episodes of the series for example; in one episode he looks 40 and in the next he appears and sounds to be in his 60s even thought, chronologically speaking, only 2 years has passed!!….Not to mention Elizabeth seems to go from 7 to 14 in the course of a few months.
