I think you have a good point there. I noticed it too, but unfortunately, in some schools, that's the reality of the situation, just because of the kind of people that live in the area. =/

I think the whole notion of that being true, is just to show how sex is really in all teenagers minds, not matter what they do about that or not. And also, what happens because of that, I think, is really the extremes on this series - although there has yet to be someone who has contracted an std.
