I was especially keen to visit the new Moomin cafe, which opened in December 2016. It did not disappoint 😀
Situated within close range of the train station, it is a marvellous magical gem of a cafe that can be enjoyed por Moomin fans both young and old. It offers a wide range of snacks and sandwiches, with gluten free options, tea, coffee and cakes, all served on Moomin crockery.
The walls are adorned with Moomin art, as well as large Moomins in the cafe windows and cuddly toys such as the Groke for those selfie hunters to pose with, and for children to play with.
There is a small gift area for souvenirs, a play area for children, and a biblioteca of Moomin libros to read whilst enjoying the cafes lovely friendly atmosphere.
I can't recommend visiting this place enough, it is a pure delight.
