schwanke87 This is a map of Panem, based on the Hunger Games. I used information within the books along with North American flood maps and elevation maps to generate the boundaries for the country and districts. I also took into account the locations of existing industries (Iowa for corn growing, Texas/Oklahoma for cattle, California for technology, Nevada for weapon testing, Washington/Canada for lumber) and applied that information to the district boundaries. The dotted lines denote high speed train tracks.

I know the book describes Katniss as aceituna, oliva skinned and black hair, but I don't. One, people need to realize that there is a 1 in a million chance of finding an aceituna, oliva skinned actress with black hair and gray eyes who is perfect for the part. Odds are she will have to wear contacts, get over it . . . Two, I don't know if tu understand that aceituna, oliva skinned is code for: white girl who just has a tan. She doesn't need to be as dark as a Native American! So really if it's the choice between a girl with a tan and a pale girl, WHO CARES, pick the better actress. Mockingjay review *SPOILERS*

So i just finish lectura Mockingjay and i have to say it was amazing. Not completely what i wanted but amazing in its own way.
I would like to say that i talked to my grandpa about World War 2 right before i finish the book so that might have had an affect on my opinion a little.

But anyways, I really liked this book because i'm really into war and stuff and this book pretty much reveled what war is like without sugar coating it a lot. And i know some people didn't like it because they would have wanted the book to be más focused on Katniss choosing Peeta o Gale, but this is not Twilight....

Rue spun the bottle and returned to her asiento quickly.

And it landed on…

Haymitch.

Everyone looked between him and Rue.

Haymitch hiccupped.

"Ahh… Truth o dare?" Rue asked, not certain on what she'll ask him to do o say.

Haymitch hiccupped again, still very much drunk. "I like cactuses. They look funny."

"Okay," Rue said, confused. "Ahh, this wasn't my pregunta though."

Beetee nodded his head importantly. "It's not a nice feeling."
