Do tu think it's "unfair" for "the Host" that "Twilight" has más fans,is más known and más succesful?

I don't think it's unfair, but

- Twilight is a completed series. That's 4 libros vs 1 book

- The Host there's no official word on whether it will be continued as a series.

- Twilight cine (minus 1) are already completed vs TH movie hasn't even finished casting.

- Meyer seems a bit...disconnected(?) with her audience, she was más close to her fans when escritura Twilight. I understand it's impossible nowadays when the fanbase is so huge though.

- The Host movie took a loong, looong time in pre production, so maybe now that it's actually happening people who were interested will be interested again also new readers will registrarse the fandom

*is already hiding* Yes, it's unfair, because Twilight is overrated (A) But that's just my opinion, no offence to the fans. Personally, I think The Host is a much better story, but that's an other discussion.

I think that The Host is less known than Twilight, because it's written during the Twilight-hype. People payed más attention to all those books, than to other work of the writer.

But what's fair? A lot good books, movies, TV series etc. don't get the recognition they deserve. It's just because people are focusing on other, sometimes less good work.

I think it's because there isn't a movie yet. When the movie is released, I'm sure there will be más fans. Some people don't want to read the libros and when they watch the movies, they become fans. I believe that's what happened with Twilight.

I read Twilight first liked it too but I really feel that the Host is far ahead as a story is concerned.
The Host deserves as much popularity as Twilight if not more.
I hope a good movie can draw más fans as well as sequels.

The way i see it, I'm enjoying the time with my "secret" Host world before the media starts distorting and misinterpteting the story!

being into things underground stuff is más fun . popular things tend to blow up & piss people off . sounding crazy is más fun :P
