Did anyone here find the beginning a bit boring.



When I saw this in the cinemas I thought the beginning seemed to drag on and on. I did like the beginning as it was heart-warming but personally Zac Levi ruined it as he mentioned the part that his character died(well kinda died but he didn’t thank god) and he was on about Mother Gothel who estola Rapunzel as a child and that one día Rapunzel will return to her family. I was expecting a storybook opening and have Zac saying oh once upon a time blah blah blah. There was a deleted version of that scene but I was hoping to see a storybook in the actual scene also.

Am I the only one who was disappointed with the beginning.
Did anyone here find the beginning a bit boring.

I didn't exactly find it boring, but I thought it could have been done better.
It gave away to much. I think it could have gone a lot better if all the information that was blurted out in the beginning had instead been gradually revealed through out the movie.

i agree but if we have kids watching then some of the info needs to be explained...but yet they shoiuld of kept somethings a secret like the fact that he dies...

in my opinion the boring opening is the one with book, it'll be like the 6th animated movie that starts with a book. ain't that boring?

it was unique and special, I like it the way it is :).

I totaly agree with tu on that! It's nice change for once and in my oppion fit better with what was gonna happen in the movie.I saw the deleted opening with the book and to me it didn't fit right with the movie,I see why it was cut.I thought the opening and the ending with Flynn telling the story was way better and I actually amor it! I think that it was great they decied to use a major to be the narriotor! Flynn is amazing story teller,at least I think he is.And I wouldn't change what's in the movie for nothing! So I disagree with the ones who doesn't like the opening and ending of the movie! Sorry but I amor it just the way it is.

It made not since at all lol It cracked me up it was so funny XD I didn't think it was boring at all I thought it was very funny I laughed so hard lol Yeah I was kinda disappointed in that part to but I heard how funny it was then I was like XD And I like better for him telling the story not some lady.

I sort of needed it, I would of gotten confused not knowing when Rapunzel sings, I wouldn't of know her hair was magic o their was a magic flor involved.
