I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Suicide Squad Trailer #2 Breakdown May Reveal New Plot Details
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
will introduce a whole team of supervillains who exist in the DC cinematic universe established by
(a.k.a. the DC Extended Universe), when it arrives less than six months after Zack Snyder’s
introduces such players as Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and (of course) Batman into the mix, this upcoming spring. The cast members for
include Will Smith as Deadshot, Margo Robbie (
) as Captain Boomerang, and Oscar-winner Jared Leto as The Joker.
trailer – which premiered at the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con – introduces most of the eponymous pack of super-villains, accompanied by Becky Hanson’s moodier rendition of The Bee Gees’ tune, “I Started a Joke”. Warner Bros. Pictures isn’t expected to release the second trailer for the film until February at the earliest (possibly when
arrives in theaters), but we might now have some details on what form the theatrical preview will take.
‘s Umberto Gonzalez has posted what is allegedly a shot-for-shot breakdown of the second
trailer – one that (like its predecessor) will juxtapose its comic book crime/thriller footage with an offbeat choice of music – this time, Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody”. This isn’t the first time that the aforementioned Queen song has been named-dropped as the potential music of choice for the next
trailer either, so there may be some actual fire behind the smoke of this particular
Members of the Suicide Squad – which, in addition to the aforementioned characters (sans Joker), includes Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) and El Diablo (Jay Hernandez) – are shown in their prison cells. We then get to see the various baddies in action, once they have been set loose and are unleashed on the unsuspecting public.
The members of the Suicide Squad are shown battling a variety of monsters and one giant CGI creature, described as having been created by Enchantress.
Quick cuts of key scenes from Harley’s past (example: Joker pulling Harley out of a chemical tank and acting, well, very Joker-y in general), as well as sequences that illustrate the Suicide Squad’s unabashed love for chaos and depravity.
footage is framed by “Bohemian Rhapsody” in the upcoming trailer, along with more information on how the film’s Comic-Con footage is re-mixed and combined with fresh material there. However, it sounds as though the main intent behind the trailer is to further introduce the Suicide Squad and its members’ respective personalities – as well as their super-powers or, in the case of someone like Harley, “abilities” – and their dynamic when they are on missions together, without also firmly spelling out exactly what the main threat in the film is. However, by the sound of it, containing the supernaturally-powered Enchantress (Cara Delevingne) will be one of the primary challenges (if not the primary one) that the Suicide Squad are tasked with in the film, as has been rumored in the past.
trailer breakdown also indicates that Rick Flagg (Joel Kinnaman) serves as the ringleader for the eponymous group of incarcerated supervillains, under the supervision of A.R.G.U.S. head Amanda Waller (Viola Davis). Previously-leaked
set images indicate Deadshot’s backstory and the events that shaped him will be explored in the film, and it sounds as though Harley’s origins shall be included in the movie too (as the first trailer and another leaked set photo hinted would be the case). Most of Harley’s scenes with Joker will unfold via flashback it seems, but her prominence in this new trailer breakdown suggests the character gets a significant amount of development in Ayer’s actual film – something that should please the many Harley fans out there.
Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad
trailer breakdown is how the preview positions itself as being “not your average superhero movie” – with its
tagline and having characters like Harley flat out saying
20th Century Fox has taken a similar approach to marketing the upcoming
– with trailers emphasizing that the Merc with a Mouth’s solo movie is a “different” kind of superhero film. Both
combine badly-behaved comic book characters with different genres (crime/thriller and raunchy action/comedy), and have the potential to put a refreshing new spin on the world of superheroes in movies – if they’re handled correctly, of course.
, 2016 could the year that firmly drives home just how different a “superhero movie” can actually be. That’s a good thing too, seeing as the DCEU will only be getting started in 2016 – and it’s not as though Fox and Marvel Studios are planning to call it quits on their own superhero cinematic universes anytime soon, either.

This is pretty suspicious given that the recent second trailer rumour was debunked. And this guy is the only source of this info. So I guess we'll see what happens...
