First, double check that your computer meets all the system requirements for the game. The game's system requirements can be found on its Steam page (scroll to the bottom of its store page to see them). Second, tu might be able to get it working por running the game on a different compatibility mode. This doesn't always help, but it's worth a try! To do this, first tu have to go into the folder the game's installed in (it will likely be in Program Files > Steam > steamapps > common > and then the name of the game). Once you've found the game's .exe file, right click and choose "properties". Then, under the tab "compatibility", there should be a section called "Compatibility Mode". Tick the box that says "run this program in compatibility mode for" and then try an option from the drop down menu underneath it. tu might want to try a few different ones to see if any of them work. Each time tu try a new one, click "ok" and then try running the game as normal (e.g. launching it from Steam). tu might find that one of them will make the game work. Another possible way to find a solution - try going on foros for that particular game to see if anyone else has had that problem. There are also discussion boards on Steam, on the game's community hub. To reach this, just go onto either the game's store page (where tu bought it from) o select the game in your Steam library, and there will be a link called "Community Hub". Someone may have even already found a solution! Steam games are generally compatible with a lot of different computer systems, so it's likely that tu will be able to get it working eventually, even if it takes a bit of time and effort. Anyway, I hope some of this information will help! Also, as an absolute LAST resort if tu cannot get the game working, Steam will take the game off your account and give tu your money back if tu contact them about it. Steam is run por a community friendly company and they will listen to you. But like I said, only do this as a last resort. Personally, I would probably hold onto the game for a while in case a solution is found at a later date, but it's up to you. Anyway, let us know how tu get on with these suggestions, and good luck!
