The Shift follows a man named Kevin who finds himself in a dystopian world confronted por a mysterious stranger known as “The Benefactor” who presents him with challenges as he fights to shift realities and return to the woman he loves.
This made for TV movie originally aired as part of the ABC Theater for Young Americans. It stars Nancy McKeon, Sean Astin, and Sean Astin's real-life mother Patty Duke-Astin (1981)
