Richard had never heard such a thing, and even considering the things he had been exposed to in the reciente three years of his life, had taken it as only a way of her expressing her amor for him. Now that the rift was sealed, there was nothing left for Richard and Kahlan to do but travel back to Aydindril. Even though both were happy, none of them could really enjoy their victory.
