She's great.

I loved Sisu <3! I also adore Boun, he was great!

I hated Noi, she was really annoying to me. That was just stupid. If they wanted a gang of thieves, monkey-things would have sufficed. A two-year (?!) old jumping around and being cognizant enough to plan and execute thefts? Give me a break.

It’s so hard to choose because each character is amazing in their own way, but I absolutely ❤️ Namaari!!! I really enjoyed how complex they made her. Despite being antagonistic towards Raya initially, you see throughout the film that she isn’t the evil one sided villain who wants to destroy everything for kicks. She truly does have a good heart and is fiercely protective of those she cares for, but is also deeply sadden by how broken her world is. She wants something better, but is conflicted on how to find it. You really can just look in her eyes and see a strong genuine soul there, which I think is what Sisu sees during their first encounter together (one of the best scenes in the movie).

I also love her relationship with Raya (my other favorite). How their love of dragons is what originally brought them together as little girls, but opposing ideas put them on opposite sides and Sisu is the one who brings them back together because she knows that they need each other to save their world. Both really are two sides of the same coin and I think their journey together is just as much the heart of the story as Raya’s journey with Sisu is.

I think so, anyway. But I honestly love them all!
