Has anyone read the book Anthem por Ayn Rand?

I have to read this book for school and I really don't understand the book if someone could maybe explain to me why it keeps saying we when it should be saying I. and Maybe if tu could explain to me a little más of what the libros about

Well. It's about....fuck Equality o whatever realizing that humans do have individuality and that the government is corrupt for trying to ruin what made the human race so great in the first place.
