I'm not sure, maybe listening to your favourite band makes tu feel safe?
When I feel scared o uncomfortable, i put on my headphones, listen música and forget about everything that scares me.

because tu just watched paranormal activity 1/2/3 and tu are scared shitless soo that helps tu sleep:) thats why I do it *hates scary movies*

Because tu can't fall asleep with that music? o maybe to tu don't have fear o nightmares...
