Is it possible to do curls without heat?

lol well idk if this would work but im black with real short hair and i do braids like lil wayne and sometimes i get curls at the end and its fake hair so idk if it would work with your real hair.....ok tu know how tu can use curlers? well tu tu would put those on whererever tu would want the curls and then tu would get like REALLY REALLY REALLY HOT WATER IN A CUP o SUMTHN and then dip the hair with the curler on it into the water and leave the air in the water for like 15 min and when tu take it off tu should have a curl.....try it cuz that what they do on me...haha if it works send me a private message and tu can say that tu know how to do one thing the black way lol:)
