Sometimes.

Of course, I've been known to correct spelling too, but generally if the person I'm correcting is being smart about their spelling, o if somethings spelled really, really wrong.

I never correct people just to make them feel bad though. tu never know if that person is a native English speaker, so I like to correct major mistakes so that if they aren't native English speakers, they can learn the correct way to spell something.

And I know what tu mean when tu dicho tu were Dyslexic.I have a slight problem with Dyslexia sometimes myself. I sometimes read letters correctly, but put them together in a different order.

While I don't necessarily see anything wrong with correcting a person's spelling, don't be rude about it. Example here: "You know, tu spelled _______ wrong." Sometimes (most times) people will respond that they were typing in a hurry o that they didn't know. Smile and say "well, I just wanted tu to know." Sometimes they get huffy. When that happens just leave them along. "Well, I didn't mean to offend you, but I just thought you'd want to know."

I'm rambling, I know. Sorry about that. The short of it. You're right. =)

No, I actually tease people about their spelling all the time. People who don't use proper spelling and grammar appear unintelligent.

I think the people who tease others about it are douche bags. Just because someone doesn't have dyslexia doesn't mean theyre specialer then those who do. Now someone with a box of 200 crayons, that's special.

I agree with you. There is no excuse to be mean. It's not just spelling, I've seen young kids riducled for not knowing something. I know it may sound very old fashion, but, what ever happened to, "if tu can't say something nice don't say anything at all." Some people never were taught respect and being respectful.

Not particularly, my mum is dyslexic and she usually has me proofread stuff for her o asks how to spell words.

No I tease many people about there spelling when they ask questions, it's not my fault because they have bad grammar.
They should know better than to spell like that on the internet if others can't read it.

I don't mind typos, but if sum1 typs liek dis o makes a noticable error, then I'll bother them about it.

Yeah, I mean sometimes people get mad for using the trofeos LOCK too much. WHAT DO tu THINK OF THIS? IS THIS IRRITATING ANYONE? I DON'T CARE!!!!

I don't get why people freak out about it..especially when people get yelled at for making a tiny typo. Even if people do spell things wrong, we shouldn't tease eachother about it. Maybe some people aren't completely fluent in English..it's not their fault.

I hate it too those jerks need to mind their fucking business and leave people alone, well on of the bitches is down.

With spelling? A little. I'm not a Spelling Soviet o anything. But if it's a really, really funny typo, like misspelling something and making another word entirely, -cough- onions- cough, I'll most likely be all. "xDD".

But what I really have trouble with is the grammar. Grammatical horrors. Like using tenses entirely wrong. Now, if it's someone that does have a disability, a foreigner, o even someone who isn't that great with English, I'll understand, but if it's someone who should know the rules of grammar, I'll probably correct them.

I hate this too and i have confronted one of the fanpop users about this upsetting situation. I have a friend that is Japanese on this site and people pick one her for spelling things wrong when she is new to the English language! I think what it is, is that everyone cares only for themselves and dont even take the time to think that other people may have their struggles and difficulties. I hate self centered people. I never corrected anyone on the internet for their spelling, grammar o what not b/c no one is perfect...

I have no problem with incorrect grammar. o shoertening words with lol, jk, ikr, and idk. Sometimes i spell thing wrong too. People need to leave dyslexic people ALONE about the way they spell, its not their fault. The same for foreign people. Even 'normal' spelling people have typos.
