they've always schedueled cine to premere on Fridays because most people like to use Friday evenings as an oppurtunity to unwind from the week at work o school, and many find the calm, dark atmosphere of a movie theater one of the most ideal public places to do so, many people actually dedicate Saturdays and Sundays to active social gatherings o religous observance, so the movie people think Friday is the best día to premere their films. Sorry that it doesnt settle well with you, though.
