I think lyrics are extremely important as well but I'm not like "Nah, the lyrics suck, let's find another song!" ; ) It's the sound that has to fascinate me ( :
I do listen to songs that have stupid lyrics though if I love the music :D
If a song has both, then that's simply great^^
I always look up the lyrics online and read them over a lot!
I'm a total musical person. In school the call me "music girl" because I'm always with my earphones over my ears even if I'm talking to people. I really don't mind being alone, as long as my music is with me.
For me, if I heard a song for the first time & I like the tune, then it is fine but I look for the lyrics & if I like the lyrics then it's perfect for me. If I don't like them, bye bye. But if I do it's even more perfect if they remind me of something sad, happy, special. That's what most of my ipod it's about. My ipod it's full of my emotions. I'm totally a lyric girl & I really love Peyton a little more for being one too ♥
I guess that kinda reflects my personality. As much as I want to think of myself as an overanalytical person that thinks of everything before acting, I have to say that I act really often on impulse! I am the one that will just enjoy my life even if my actions will harm me. I think I'm able to do everything providing it will satisfy me! But I guess I have more "lyric" moments in my life even if it's not really in my character! ;)
The lyrics can be great, amazing, wonderful but they're still just words, whatever profound meaning they hold.
The music is what feels like it passes through you, goes straight to your heart, where the true perfection in a song/symphony lies. The music goes beyond words and expresses true emotion in a way that words can't.
