So is Hook originally from FTL o our world?

He's from the encantada Forrest. He worked for the king in the navy as a lieutenant on board a ship until the king ordered the dreamshade to be taken from Neverland, and Hook's brother, trying to prove it was a medicine, gave it to himself. A nicer Pan gave Hook the water needed to heal his brother, but the catch is the person can't leave once it's dado to them. Hook's brother tried to leave and was killed. Hook took over the ship and he and his crew became pirates
