Hrmm. I, personally, would go out with him, but tu are not me. If tu don't want a relationship but tu like him, just be close to him, maybe go out with mutual friends (not a group fecha but a group get-together). Maybe, you'll eventually want to fecha him, and then you'll have been around each other a while and be más comfortable as people and as friends. If tu don't, tu can continue being friendly to each other.
