It is a sweet way to tell that other person that tu care about them very much. <3 It also makes the person feel good about themselves, and tu two as one! :)

It's the perfect way to express your feelings for someone besides telling them tu are in amor with o amor them. I'd actually say besar is better than asking someone on a fecha but I understand those who says it's the other way around :)
