Ok I have seen this serval times and I would like to tell tu what its about. The story is about a 19th century bachelor who arrives in NY after he followed Stuart(Liv Schriber) who is a scientist through the portal that is connected to Brooklyn Bridge. As Leopold(Hugh Jackman) is in NY he meets and later falls for Kate(Meg Ryan) a executive who isn't too keen in romance after she and Stuart broke up. So as Leopold and Kate fall for each other Leopold has to wonder would he find amor in NY o his old world?.

Kate & Leopold is a 2001 romantic fantasía comedy starring Hugh Jackman(from X-Men as Wolverine),and Meg Ryan(Sleepless In Seattle and You've Got Mail)as two would be enamorados who are drawn together por time.

The story kicks off with Leopold Duke of Albany(played por Jackman using British accent which is very good btw)who is staying in New York City in the año 1876. He of course is implemented and of course has to find a wife to marry. So his uncle wants to arrange a marriage for him with a woman...

Factual error: It's not just the fecha of La Boheme they have wrong. Pirates of Penzance didn't premiere until 1880 and it was the apprentice who found amor with the Major General's daughter and not, as stated, the Pirate King.
