I am Dutch. I want to live in Ireland, so I try to get an Irish accent. Have you got any tips for me ?

Wait till you come over. Its easier to pick up when you're surrounded by it.

I dunno it depends on where your moving to

Meeee is right, because our accent varies so much. I mean, I'm from South Cork, which means I have a really sing song accent, but my cousins from West Cork have a harder, more drawn accent. It depends on what part you're in.

Guarantee that meeee's accent is completely different to mine.

there is no irish accent. you need to be more specific. Cork is really different to Dublin & both are worlds away northern or western. even small distances like Dazl's on about have noticeable differences & even have words that mean different things :)

Yup I'd say it is dazl.
Donegal and Mayo are way different too.
Another example of short distance north side and south side Dublin.

Yeah I agree the accents are just too different and vary from place to place i.e Dublin accents accents are extremely different to Cork accents. You'll see when you move over =]

You need to go back in time and be born in Ireland to get the accent, you cant just get an Irish accent because you feel like it !!

I agree with Whazh if you look at "PS I love You" their Irish accents are shit! the Irish accent has
has to be there from the start or not at all!
