Hiccup was still shooken up from what he hard from Snotlout. The anger was building up in side him. Eating him alive. But it all went away when Beth had literally ripped him off the ground. Dragging him up the stairs while Hiccup didn't even had a chance to touch the ground to catch his footage. beth was to quick for him.
