I have been thinking a lot lately about the direction of House fandom. A number of creative decisions made on the mostrar in season six have not been well received por some sub-groups of fans and these fans have taken their frustrations out on people like David apuntalar, costa and Greg Yaitanes, and even on the actors and actrices on the show.
I'll start por acknowledging that I am a freak who ships many ships on the show, so in that sense I do have a perspective that many people may not share. But I think that because I sit in so many camps, my perspective may shed some light on these issues.
The main issue that I want to address in this articulo is that of spoilers. Due to the rise of Twitter and Greg Yaitanes open use of Twitter as a foros to directly communicate with fans, mostrar information and spoilers have become vitally important to House MD fans on the internet.
Lets face it: a lot of us want as much House in our día as possible, so a House insider like Greg Yaitanes being so accessible is a dream come true. Unfortuately, it seems to be turning into a bit of a nightmare.
Greg Yaitanes has dangled a few Huddy carrots (and carrots for other ships as well) via Twitter, telling us which episodes to look out for in terms of Huddy developments. Firstly, I think we need to understand that just because Mr Yaitanes tells us that a certain episode will please Huddy fans that he means that we will see graphic and extended House/Cuddy sex scenes and then they get married and have 48 children. I think Huddy fans need to lower their expectations. I would suspect that he means that their will be revelations o developments o just a really clever scene. And it also doesn't mean that there won't be just as many obstacles as there are highlights of Huddy o for any other ship.
Secondly, the way I see it is that people like Greg Yaitanes and David apuntalar, costa etc etc are under no obligation to tell us anything about what is coming up on the show, but they unfortunately find themselves living in the internet age when anyone can say anything online and remain anonymous, which opens the doors for "moles", as well as fan outrage and abuse. So one can imagine that producers and other people who work on the mostrar are under a lot of pressure to please fans while still remaining true to their creative process. For example, imagine tu are a producer on the mostrar and most of the preguntas that tu are asked are about House and Cuddy getting together. Firstly, being asked the same kinds of preguntas día in and día out must be frustrating. Secondly, tu will probably become acutely aware of the expectations of the show's fanbase. Now, I do think that the producers of a tv mostrar are obligated to listen to their fans to a certain extent, as us fans are vital to the success of a show. BUT producers cannot be lead entirely por their fans. If producers did everything that the fans wanted, House would be in a romantic relationship with Cuddy AND Cameron AND Wilson AND Stacy AND heaps of other people and so the mostrar would go nowhere. At the end of the day, the producer/writers/directors/actors must be able to take the mostrar in the direction that they deem to be the best, and giving in to the whims of every group of fans is not going to work. So I think there comes a point when fans have to step back and say "Ok, I'm not a big fan of this decision for the direction of the show" and then say either "But I'm going to keep watching the mostrar and see how things work out" o "I'm not going to watch this mostrar anymore because it is deviating too much from my vision of the show".
I know that these issues are particularly hard to negotiate when tu are emotionally invested in one ship in particular. But what I find irritating about Huddy fans (in general! I'm talking about collective Huddy fandom) is this idea that Huddy fans seem to believe that they have the right to be más outraged than fans of other ships that are experiencing troubles. What I think would annoy me most if I was a producer for the mostrar is that some Huddy fans are not even giving the storyline a chance to develop. They have just jumped on this abusive bandwagon. As an aside, I want to stress that I am using Huddy as an example, but this discussion applies to the whole of House fandom.
I think the issues about producers and moles and spoilers were best put por Hugh Laurie himself when he talked about how much it hurt him that all these spoilers keep coming out without any consultation with the actors. And to learn that many spoilers are not leaked por people with the authority to leak them is pretty alarming. Why should the entire cast and crew of the mostrar work so hard to create unique and wonderful storylines and performances if half the information is going to be leaked to us before the episode anyway? They may as well just write out the entire course of the mostrar now and give it to us so as to save themselves the trouble of writing, producing and performing the episodes! Save them time and money!
I think we have to realise that spoilers are a PRIVILGE NOT A RIGHT. And I think what has happened is that we (House MD fans as a group) have abused that privilege to the point where we believe it is our right to be dado spoilers, and that it is our right to JUDGE the mostrar and the people who make it based on those spoilers.
So I guess I want to suggest that we all just think about how we want to experience House fandom and think about how we react to and interpret spoilers and other information about the show. After all, we are all fans of the mostrar and presumably we want to experience the mostrar and its fandom as positively as we can.
Thanks for lectura my blabbering. Feel free to add your thoughts, o to argue (respectfully please) with me.

That perra doesn’t know who she’s messing with. Well she’s messing with me. Lisa Cuddy. Dean of Medicine. Her boss. Allison Cameron has no clue. I thaught she was over House. I guess not. What nerve! Chase is a decent man. He deserves better than Cameron. I’ll mostrar her. I’ll just walk right up to her and ask her if she loves House. Not that I’m jealous o anything. I’m just…shit! I’m jealous. House won’t fall for her anyways…I don’t think…SHIT! Now I have to talk to him. It’s hard work loving an egotistical asshole!
Why these people cannot get cut off..
> Cuddy- Lisa renewed her contract, Huddy sex, Her baby she just got this season, no reason to cut her off.
>House-....Kinda obvious why HOUSE can't get cut off the mostrar named HOUSE!!
> Wilson- He is supposed to get some romance, Robert renewed his contract, His brother kinda just got introduced, no reason to get cut off
>Chase- Jesse renewed his contract, him and cameron got a big role in season 6, no reason to cut him off he hasn't had any screen time lately
>Cameron- Jennifer renewed her contract, Her and Chase have a big role in season 6, no reason to cut her off.
>Thirteen- it says no one we would expect but ehh idk
>Kutner- why cut him off???
Taub - i really think it is him...
he is miserable, he is losing money which leads to suicide, he didn't renew his contract
Foreman- i have no clue about him but they can't since her renewed his contract also
