waiting for it to ring?
Have tu ever looked at him,
and felt so much amor tu almost cried?
Have tu ever gazed in someone's eyes,
and felt so safe?
Have tu ever wanted something so bad,
tu could almost taste it?
Have tu ever made a promise,
tu just couldn't keep?

Your eyes
I used to think
They were so beautiful
Now all I see
Is darkness
An empty shell
tu went through hell
I'm not so sure
What's left of your soul
But in some way
Your eyes
They're still beautiful

The air is hot and still
But rain pours down
The leaves on trees whisper
to eachother
Thunder roars
Lightning flashes
And people dance in the rain
Caught in the middle
Of the summer storm
