Zangeres Taylor rápido, swift was afgelopen zondag de grote winnares camioneta, van de American música Awards. Ze viel maar liefst vier keer in de prijzen. De zangeres kreeg de prijs voor beste country- en popzangeres en voor het beste album. Daarbovenop werd ze ook nog eens artieste camioneta, van het jaar. Ook voor zanger Justin Timberlake was het een vruchtbare avond, hij mocht drie prijzen mee naar huis nemen. rihanna werd dan weer beloond met een 'Icon Award' die haar werd overhandigd door haar eigen moeder, Monica Fenty. In haar speech herinnerde rihanna zich azada ze haar moeder vroeger "terroriseerde met haar vervelende mannenstem". Daarna dankte ze haar fans en haar team: "Mijn fans, jullie houden dit speciaal. Ik kan niet geloven dat ik 25 ben en deze award vasthoud. Ik kan niet iedereen bedanken, maar als je me kent weet je dat ik camioneta, van je hou.
