‘Gotham’ Casts James Frain As Regular, Will Play New Villain & Tigress’ Brother
EXCLUSIVE: With Fish Mooney out of the picture (at least for now),
will be introducing a new formidable villainous duo in Season 2: Theo Galavan and his sister, Tabitha, who will go on to become DC Comics super-villain Tigress. James Frain (
) has been cast in one of the two new regular roles on the Fox series. He will play billionaire industrialist Theo Galavan. A new Gotham arrival, Galavan is the savior the city has been waiting for — he is sexy, heroic, and lovingly devoted to his sister Tabitha (yet to be cast). But behind Galavan’s altruism is a centuries-old vendetta. Galavan and Tabitha (aka Tigress) will take chaos and violence to a new level in order to bleed Gotham. Their plan will lead to the creation of new villains… and the destruction of others.

It’s odd, but it’s like he is in every series I watch. It’s gotten so that when he shows up, my husband and I just laugh.
GREAT NEWS! Loved him in ‘White Queen’ and the cancelled-too-soon ‘The Cape’ on NBC.
Always plays sinister classic British villains well – should be a real asset to ‘Gotham’
As far as the character he’s playing? Hopefully it will be akin to Michael Rosenbaum’s Lex Luthor on ‘Smallville’ (or maybe even John Glover’s Lionel).
Whatever the character’s storylines, the casting sounds GREAT!
