well, the gorillaz are a virtual band durh. they're not a real band behind the animations, it's damon albarn and jamie hewlett. they have a live band,which consists of damon, some of the clash and all the colaberators. basically, gorillaz are fictional characters, which is why they're such a breakthrough in modern music. tahdah(:
